Bernard has been in the real estate industry for more than 15 years and has experience in Real Estate Development, Property & Asset Management, and Brokerage. Bernard is the owner of several properties managed by Upper Management. He has an M.B.A. from The University of Georgia, and undergraduate business degree from The University of Mississippi. After seven years in Atlanta working as a Project Manager, Bernard moved back to Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina.
Bernard is also active in Fromherz Company LLC, a Real Estate Development Company founded in 2007. Fromherz Company provides Development Management, Consulting, and Project Management Services in the gulf south region. Bernard is the qualifying party for Fromherz Company’s LLC Louisiana Contractor License.
Originally from Atlanta, Olivia moved to New Orleans in 2006 to attend Tulane University. She majored in Social Policy & Practice, with a minor in Urban Studies. She started as Upper Management’s Leasing and Property Manager in 2013. She is a licensed LA Real Estate Agent. Prior to Upper Management, Olivia worked as a Housing Coordinator and Case Manager for NAMI New Orleans for three years. Olivia has participated in Crescent City Soccer, Southern Sports Leagues, PlayNola, YLC and 504Ward.
Cindy prides herself on delivering the highest levels of professional standards and customer service. She has over 15 years of extensive Residential, Commercial and Condo Association Management experience with a proven track record of success in all building-related matters. Cindy has worked for a number of local agencies where she managed up to 400 properties in a single portfolio; as well as Market Rate Tax Credit Units and Up Scale Luxury Units.
Shannon is a native of Mountain Brook, AL and attended Tulane University where she completed her Bachelors of Science in Finance in 2009, and her Masters of Accounting in 2010. Following graduation, Shannon started her career as a Staff Accountant for The Stewart Organization, Inc. in Birmingham, AL. A love of New Orleans food, and her now husband, Ben, brought Shannon back, where she became the Finance Director for a local public relations firm until 2017 when she joined a New Orleans Accounting firm until 2020. Shannon became a licensed realtor in 2017 and has a great interest and passion for Real Estate.
Shannon’s accounting education, knowledge and experience, combined with her interest in Real Estate made her a great fit for at Upper Management Realty. We are pleased to announce Shannon joining our team in February 2020 as our Finance Director.
Brandi Musgrove recently joined the Upper Management Team as one of our Property Managers. Brandi has years of experience managing residential properties as large as 400 units, and most recently was lead on a 200 unit community.
Brandi enjoys spending time with her children and is a huge Saints fan!

Tyler grew up in Detroit, Michigan, attended college at Ferris State University, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in Marketing/Professional Golf Management. After college, Tyler was a Golf Professional for many years. He eventually moved to Colorado full time, where he started and operated a catering company. Tyler has worked in the hospitality industry, and truly enjoys daily interactions with people. This is one of the many reasons Tyler decided to become a Real Estate agent after moving to New Orleans in 2013.
Tyler has worked in some of the city’s most popular restaurants, while also learning about New Orleans and the Real Estate market. Tyler gained knowledge and experience while working for Gardner Realtors, but eventually joined the Upper Management team in July of 2016. We are excited to have him on board.
Martha is a dedicated, customer-focused agent with a passion for New Orleans’ real estate, culture, and history. A licensed Louisiana Real Estate agent, Martha specializes in residential sales, and loves working with both buyers and sellers. Her @marthaeagerallen Instagram account is a deep dive into New Orleans neighborhoods, their culture, and historic buildings, and has been featured by national accounts. In 2018, Martha was listed as one of City Business “Ones to Watch in Real Estate.” She has been quoted in City Business and on WWLTV for her expertise in New Orleans’ Neighborhoods and Real Estate trends, and has presented on “Navigating Online Property Listings” for the Preservation Resource Center.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Martha moved to New Orleans in 2007 to attend Tulane University, where she majored in Communications, with a minor in Public Health. Prior to working with Upper Management Realty, Martha worked as a Leasing Agent and Assistant Property Manager for HRI Properties for 4 years and as a Residential Sales Agent with RE/MAX N.O. Properties for 3.5 years. She is an active member of the Junior League of New Orleans and Preservation Resource Center.
Dustin joined Upper Management in August of 2015 after relocating back to New Orleans from Virginia, where he worked as a Maintenance Superintendent for a large assisted living facility. He is skilled in painting, electrical & plumbing. He has become a vital asset to the UMR team. He resides in the Bywater with his family.
Nathan was born and raised in the New Orleans metropolitan area and graduated from Jesuit High School, Cum Laude. Nathan attended Tulane University where he received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science, and graduated law school at Loyola University. Nathan practiced in the litigation section of a large defense firm. Nathan’s insurance litigation experience provided him with an advantage in examining property insurance policies, handling property insurance claims, and procuring insurance of all kinds on numerous properties. After leaving the practice of law, Nathan part-owned and operated a general contracting firm that did large residential and commercial construction projects and then began the full-time task of buying and renovating residential and commercial buildings.
For several years Nathan operated Abercrombie Property Services, which successfully managed Condominium Associations in the New Orleans area. Nathan, and Abercrombie Property Services’ portfolio of Condo Association Clients, have now become part of the Upper Management Realty Team.
John grew up in Lakeview and Uptown New Orleans where he received his Real Estate license in 1973. He sold Residential single family until 1976 when he transitioned to Commercial Real Estate sales and development. He acquired his Louisiana Real Estate Brokers license in 1976, selling apartment complexes, office buildings and shopping centers throughout Louisiana.
John relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 1997 during the “boom years” and sold residential and commercial property until 2010 when he returned to his roots in New Orleans. In January of 2013, he moved to Latter and Blum (where he had started his real estate career 40 years earlier in 1973) to focus on Commercial Real Estate. John joined Upper Management Realty in June 2016 and looks forward to assisting clients in all aspects of their real estate needs.
